Get Rich On Facebook With Wealthy MLM Network Friends?
83Internet Marketing Friends
Can you hook up with wealthy rich types through internet socialising? Worth a shot I reckon...
It seems the whole world is on Facebook - interacting, social networking and internet marketing.
I thought I'd join up to see what was going on, maybe meet some new people, maybe even push my own writing stuff a little bit. Not in a spammy way (honest), but in a socially responsible networked sort of way, whatever that is.
But I was surprised by just how many people are on there apparently desperate to make your acquaintance and be your Facebook friend. Within the space of a few weeks I had about a thousand friends, and about the same time I realised that these were not real friends, or even internet friends.
They were a new breed - to me - of internet marketing friends.
Facebook Gold Diggers
After writing this article I noticed some of the searches coming through were for finding rich men, or how to find a rich man.
I'm clearly a bit of an amateur in networking and it honestly hadn't occurred to me how there must be some easy pickings in that way.
So not only are people trying to sell you stuff - they are also looking to see how much stuff you have - and whether you are suitably rich marriage material.
I guess the lesson is to be careful out there - don't show too much of your hand, and don't believe everyone else's hand either.
The amusing thing is that as the sharks circle the innocent in the hope of making some easy cash, they in turn are being hunted by people who believe the life of riches and wealth they paint.
To complete the analogy - don't go in the water without some swimming lessons.
Facebook Pages Paved with Gold?
I have now recoiled a bit from my brief Facebook flirtation, slightly sadly, as I realised I wasn't actually going to be able to spread the word about my own offerings.
These people are not interested in what I have to offer (slightly pointless wry comment) - they are pushing their own agenda, mainly consisting of get rich quick without working schemes.
Oh and Acai berries.
I suppose karma would say that's what I deserve, after all I only tried social networks in order to see what I could get out of it.
And so it seems does everyone else.
Anyway, here's my little article about socialising on Facebook and the wonderful MLM offers you could receive. If you are expecting to make money, or even marry someone rich on Facebook - you might want to read this first.
Successful and Friendly
They say rich people can be a bit stuck up sometimes, and keen to hang on to their money. Well let me tell you about a place I found called Facebook. I am a bit of a newbie, and I only joined to find out about social networking - what is it all about?
So I signed up, created a profile, and then started looking at groups. I wasn't sure about the deal on Facebook and presumed it was good to have lots of friends. So everytime someone wanted to be my friend I felt flattered, and accepted. It's funny really, because I haven't got any friends in real life, but on there I felt like Mr.Popularity.
The other great thing is that most of these MLM friends are either successful or very rich, or both, and even better they are willing to invite me in - what a stroke of luck! Not only that, but most of the women seem to be glamour models and they used to be well out of my league.
Well I'm moving in different circles these days.
Opportunity Knocks
It doesn't just knock, it practically beats down your door with invitations to make a fortune, or share secrets of success.
I've always been interested in secrets (who isn't), and even in this internet age where you can research anything it's intriguing to know there are still some secrets left. Particularly it seems in the field of making money.
What's nice about the place is that all these rich and wealthy friends of mine are keen for me to be as successful as them. They don't really know me but I assume that they gleaned from my profile that I was a pretty straighforward type of guy and liked what they saw. It's made my head expand a bit I can tell you.
Even better is that a lot of the opportunities don't seem to involve much work on my part. These MLM guys are offering me the chance to make thousands of dollars for as little as a few hours a week, without even selling anything. I've got to say, that as much as I like trying to write articles for a living, that sort of trick is too good to miss.
Taking Your Chances
So after a few days on Facebook I now have loads of rich attractive successful friends and they are all trying to help little old me to get along in life.
Every time I log in there will be more messages to cheer me up and invitations to parties - they call them webinars.
However I'm a cautious kind of guy and I don't want to rush into the wrong offer.
For example what if I bought the seven secrets of success? Seven is really good, but what if there is an offer of ten secrets? Then I would feel a bit foolish. And although $237 is not a lot to these people, it's quite a lot of money for me to spend and get three secrets less than I could have got.
So I am continuing to investigate that.
The other area I am looking at with my rather keen mind is the way to turn $25 into $19,575 dollars within a calendar month. Now that is one heck of an offer, and both those figures (including the $25) are more than I have made through my entire writing career.
But again I want to make sure that I don't miss out on a $20,000 dollar offer and feel disappointed.
Making Plans
It's early days yet but I just know that joining Facebook is going to change my life.
Surrounded by the taste of wealth and glamour, and the sheer overwhelming force of positive thinking, I am ready to climb out of the gutter at last.
No longer will people avoid me because I might not smell so good, no more getting my kicks by leafing through underwear catalogues - I am going to join the big boys. And girls.
So I am saving up my first twenty five dollars as I write. It will take a little while but I'll get there. I worked out a clever thing for myself. If I make $19,575 in the first month I am going to buy however many $25 offers I can get, and I will be a millionaire shortly afterwards.
Facebook Friends
Don't worry about missing me from Hubpages when I've made it.
I will be back with a new profile picture (featuring the yacht I bought) and the knowledge of how to make you rich like me.
And do you know what? Because you are all really nice people (and I know how hard it is to make any actual money through Adsense) it won't be $25 a pop.
I can't say how much exactly because I haven't bought the book of secrets yet, but it will be around ten dollars - and each and every one of you can have a ride on my boat.
I'm going to call it "Facebook Friends".
